we had a lovely room that overlooked Windsor Castle and the main street so you could watch the changing of the guard from the windows but I went outside to watch. Yes, you need to walk down some long halls and a few steps up and down to get to the room but it is a quirky hotel. Room was very spacious as was bathroom though the towel warmer did not work (not a big deal). Our first night was cold in the room as we checked in late when we told the front desk the next morning, turns out they had forgotten to engage the heat in our room (again, not a big deal as it was corrected immediately) Breakfast buffet is huge and delicious. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk all of Windsor.

The location was excellent , right in the middle of Windsor High Street . The staff were attentive, professional but friendly . Our room was spacious , modern and comfortable. The separate dressing area and modern bathroom were great and the sitting area in the room was really useful . We ate in the hotel for dinner and this was good . The best selling point for us was that it was dog friendly too , and taking the dog , we didn’t have to compromise by going in an inferior room . The dog was allowed in the bar area which enabled us to eat at the hotel too which was a bonus on days when it was raining and staying in was preferable. A great stay , would definitely recommend.

The staff were very friendly and went beyond expectations. Everyone we came across were superb and the welcome we received on arrival was really fabulous. The room was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable nights sleep. We’re were on the 3rd floor and rather than using the lift we walked downstairs. However this was not as easy as first thought. We got lost as the stairs don’t seem to line up. We couldn’t get out which was a bit confusing so went back to the lift on the 1st floor. We did ask the receptionist and they were happy to show us and they said this happens a lot. That’s my only negative but we would stay again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very good location opposite the castle. Beautifully presented reception, bar area & breakfast room. Rooms comfortable & a good size with nice modern shower room. Had fridge & tea/coffee facilities & lovely big comfortable bed. Staff attentive, helpful and polite - especially the valet who helped us with our car & cases. Been before & would come here again if in Windsor
